Souls are stars, divine sparking lights -
Tiny, shining parts of God,
Lost spirits of fallen angels -
Expelled from the realm of light,
Condemned to a constant cycle -
Counterchange of life and death,
Time to time imprisoned on earth -
In soil and dust of human flesh.

"Grief and lie are the rulers of this world."

My body is old, weak and tired,
But my soul's even more haggard,
Hundreds of years exiled and trapped.

"Only those who really want to live, can die."

My clay is slowly wasting away
Through starvation and thirstiness,
My soul is longing to be free.

This was the last life, I've lived,
And this will be my last death.
No more mundane bodies,
No more imprisonment!

Endura!
I shed these rags of flesh,
My soul is free to fly
Like a spark of light
(back to heaven).

The time has come!
I leave this hell forever,
And break the cycle,
I'll never be re-born
(into this world).

I will meet my Maker
When I return to the realm of light.

"Moreover you must hate this world
and its works and all things
that are of this world!"

"There's only one life true: the one after death."

Chain of re-births must be broken,
My soul deserved the endless rest,
Walls of (the) prison are crashing down.

The death-fast is ending shortly,
I die as a "goodman".

"May you come to a good end!"
