lyrics
The garden
Over valleys and bleak mountains
Of flesh and bones,
Far beyond the raging sea of blood,
Deep in the solid forest
Of heart and soul,
Behind high walls a small garden hides.
Old like the world…
The giant ironbound gate
Opens to a path
With unearthly guards
Along both sides.
The narrow trail winds between trees
And drawn-out arms
Into the wild, mysterious depths.
One trembling step or false move,
Or hollow eyes
Drives to certain, sanguinary death.
Where the path ends…
Swirling like a wrecking maelstrom
In a grim nightmare
A crack gapes there,
A depthless well.
This garden
Is a place where worlds collide,
And where
Dimensions
Fade and arise.
Light fuses with darkness,
Space and time
Intertwines
And ravels,
And void exhales cold
In the garden of my
Inner self.
A threshold between worlds,
A wormhole to the deep space,
A dark, galactic door
To all ethereal dimensions.
Higher than all the trees around,
A master entity…
An entrance to this world,
A dreadful eye of the void,
A narrow boundary
Between divine law and chaos.
Harder than all the rocks around,
The dragon’s waiting for me…
When the time finally comes
Here we will unite -
White Lord and I,
Again as one.
This garden
Is a place where worlds collide,
And where
Dimensions
Fade and arise.
Light fuses with darkness,
Space and time
Intertwines
And ravels,
And void exhales cold
In the garden of my
Inner self.
